Arsenal, Tottenham and Newcastle handed fresh James Maddison price tag amid transfer interest

James Maddison continues to be linked with a move away from Leicester City following their relegation to the Championship, with Arsenal, Tottenham and Newcastle all eyeing a swoop

Leicester City have set their price for James Maddison ahead of the summer transfer window as an exit looks all but certain in the coming weeks. The Foxes failed to beat the drop in the Premier League this season as they succumbed to relegation on the final day, despite victory over West Ham.

It means the side will be plying their trade in the Championship next campaign and a whole host of changes will have to be made across the squad. Maddison is one of those who looks set to leave, with just 12 months remaining on his contract that is a huge factor in an exit.

"How we can improve and how we can maximise and take players to a different level, the ones we haven't got everything from. Then the bonus will be to make those decisions and improve the team, but as well we don't want to lose that cohesion that exists around the team and that understanding. Hopefully we make the right decisions."

Whether that results in a switch for Maddison remains to be seen, but there are plenty of other suitors in case the Gunners don't make their move. Newcastle are one of those heavily named with an approach, but so too are Tottenham, who have also historically been linked.
