They are yet to face each other in the north London derby but Mauricio Pochettino and Unai Emery have put their club rivalry aside to pass on their expertise at a UEFA coaching course on Monday afternoon.
The Tottenham and Arsenal bosses had some time out of their hectic schedules due to the international break to talk with students of the game in Spain.
The duo were joined by Spanish coach Gregorio Manzano and Beijing Renhe's head coach Luis Garcia Plaza at Las Rozas Sports City on the outskirts of Madrid.
Both Pochettino and Emery have enjoyed fairly successful starts to the campaign with Spurs and the Gunners level in the Premier League table on 18 points.
While Spurs have been blighted by injuries early on into the season, delays to the brand new stadium haven't helped their cause after the club received setback after setback throughout the summer.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are in the zone having won nine games on the bounce and are proving to be a force to be reckoned with during these early stages of the season.
The Gunners thrashed Fulham 5-1 at Craven Cottage as Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang both bagged braces on Sunday lunchtime.
Spurs also picked up three points against a newly-promoted side as well after they edged past 10-man Cardiff following Eric Dier's early opener at Wembley.
While Pochettino's Spurs and Emery's Arsenal are level on points, all eyes will be on their first meeting on December 1 when the Gunners host their fierce rivals at the Emirates.
Tottenham have finished above Arsenal two seasons in a row now following two decades of dominance from Arsene Wenger but a clash between the two managers could give fans a hint of who could have the edge in north London.

Wenger was there so long, the players probably just got sick of being told the same thing in the same way, it was impossible for it to sink in. No disrespect to Wenger meant by that, it just needed freshening up, which isn't surprising after how long he was there for.

We asked for wins you have given us 9 in a row. We asked for away goals, you have given us 14 already. We asked for clean sheets, you gave us 3 good ones. We asked for good football, you are now making Özil score for fun. We asked for game time for toreira, you gave us. My Coach🔴

Wenger compiled a good team, just couldn't get the best out of them. When fergie left, he left behind a team that should be struggling for top-4 but somehow managed to win the title the year before. When Wenger left, he left behind a team easily capable of top-4 finishes, but somehow managed to finish 6th the year before. I don't think wenger should feel so bad about the team's success, he did a great job of setting up the club to carry on without him.

9 straight wins for Unai Emery. Despite inheriting the weakest squad in the top 6, low on confidence from years of stagnation with limited backing from his board, he’s already got Arsenal together

Emery definitely done a lot more than that, that's a disservice to him and I'm saying that as a Spurs fan. There's a lot of work behind the scenes, the mentality looks different, it's a whole job. Also "be a bit more defensively solid" is much easier said than done. Especially with their weak defenders and while playing a fairly attacking game.
