Inter Milan's Piero Ausilio has emerged as the latest candidate for Arsenal's new director of football role.

The Gunners have been trying to fill the role for months and recently missed out on former Roma man Monchi, who opted for a return to Sevilla instead.
And now, FC Inter News claims the north Londoners have 'requested information' about Ausilio.
The 44-year-old, whose contract at the San Siro expires in 2020, is also linked with Roma as a potential replacement for Monchi.
However, it is understood the Italian is keen to stay with Inter, who he has worked with for the last 21 years, and will meet with club officials to discuss his future in the coming weeks.

Nobody shoukd be willing to take this job with only 45 mill to spend,The season is going to look bad & you will get all the blame bc management (office) is too cheap!
I wouldn't listen to the media banging on about 45 million. It'll come down to how successful Arsenal are this season. i. e. Top four finish and Europa League success. If we can get back into the champions league, I'm sure the transfer funds will get an increase.
