Arsenal fans tore into Bayern Munich star Harry Kane for an alleged elbow on Gabriel.
The former Tottenham striker was involved in an unsavoury incident during the second half of the two sides' Champions League meeting at the Emirates. While tussling with Brazilian defender Gabriel, Kane appeared to throw out an arm, leaving the centre-back crumpled on the ground in pain.
The referee saw the incident and brandished a yellow card to the England captain, as opposed to the red that the home fans were appealing for. Fans took to social media with some strong words for Kane following the clash.
One supporter wrote: "Harry Kane still up to his old tricks, eh? People think he's a saint, he pretty much ruined Florian Lejeune's career with an awful tackle."
Another said: "Elbow was absolutely deliberate from Kane, who has real form for that sort of snide stuff, but almost never gets called on it because of the England stuff."
A further fan wrote: "Kane is a nasty, nasty footballer. Took a look for where Gabriel was and gave him a straight elbow to the face," while another said: "Every Arsenal supporter knows that Harry Kane is that kind of player. He looked where Gabriel was and popped him with an elbow in the neck/jaw. Despicable player. Has always been one. Tries to hurt defenders."
The alleged elbow was not the only incident that had left Gunners' fans irritated during the clash. Kane had scored the goal that saw Bayern completed a rapid first-half comeback at the Emirates.
Bukayo Saka had given Arsenal the lead in the 12th minute, only for former Gunners academy graduate Serge Gnabry to equalise six minutes later. Kane was then on the scoresheet from the penalty spot just after the half-hour mark.
The strike extended his stunning goalscoring record against Arsenal. It was his 15th career goal against the Gunners in just 20 appearances in all competitions. Kane has only scored more goals against Leicester and Everton in his career. It is a record that he will be keen to extend next week in the second leg at the Allianz Arena.
While Kane left many in North London frustrated, they ensured they were on level terms after the first leg. Leandro Trossard equalised for the Gunners to secure a 2-2 draw. Arsenal travel to Bavaria next Wednesday. The winner of the clash will take on either Manchester City or Real Madrid in the semi-finals.

Someone needs to tell Arsenal fans to keep quiet. They talk too much every season and in the end, go trophyless. Bayern are not their mates. Bayern are a bigger FC than Arsenal in all ramifications.

Bukayo Saka couldn't believe that he didn't receive a potential game-winning penalty for this challenge from Manuel Neuer. He exchanged words with the referee at fulltime ๐ฎ

I only have KIWIOR to blame for kane's goal,...Even though Kane was dropping down to spread play, he was still very much handled by Gabi and Sali, Kiwior allowed Sane go pass him. He was very very poor tonight and no doubt, experience matters for real!!
