Arsenal vs Norwich
To say that Arsenal’s 2021/22 Premier League campaign has got off to a nightmare start would be putting it lightly.
The Gunners, barring a League Cup win over a very weak West Brom side, are yet to pick up a victory this term.
After a fairly active summer window, Arsenal fans were no doubt hopeful Mikel Arteta could get their league season off to a solid start as they look to improve on two previous 8th-place finishes.
However, so far, the Spaniard has done anything but. Arsenal would begin their season by losing 2-0 to newly-promoted Brentford on the opening day of the campaign.
They were then completely dominated by both Chelsea and Manchester City, losing 2-0 and 5-0 to put them dead bottom of the PL table heading into the current international break.
After such a dismal start, it is imperative that Arsenal get something out of their upcoming league clash this weekend.
The north Londoners will face off with Norwich City at the Emirates, who are one of only three teams yet to earn a point this term – Arsenal and Wolves of course being the other two.
Partey, White & Gabriel in training
Ahead of Saturday’s vital clash, Arsenal look to have been handed several personnel boosts.
Gabriel and Thomas Partey are yet to feature for Arsenal in the league this season due to injury, whilst Ben White missed their last three outings in all competitions due to Covid-19.
However, as per football.london, all three were pictured in training on Monday, suggesting they are all in contention vs Norwich.
Partey’s return, in particular, will come as a big boost for Arsenal, who are without Granit Xhaka following his red card vs Manchester City.
