Arsenal keeper Bernd Leno is rumoured to be joining Portuguese club Benfica this summer for £8.5m.
The German international spent three years as the Gunners' first-choice stopper, and was runner up in the club's player of the season around in 2019-20.
Leno has fallen out of favour this season though and has played just four league games due to the emergence of Aaron Ramsdale.
Ramsdale has been widely praised this season as only four Premier League keepers have bettered his 12 clean sheets.
Meanwhile, Leno has made just one league appearance since starting Arsenal's 5-0 loss to Manchester City in late August.
In April, he told Goal and Sprox he wouldn't rule out a move away from north London.
This is not the first time the 30-year-old has had his playing time limited by a rival goalkeeper. Manuel Neuer's prominence in the German national side has reduced Leno to just nine appearances in six years.
Benfica's new manager Roger Schmidt is keen to sign Leno and Arsenal are willing to let him go for £8.5m, Correio da Manha has reported.
Schmidt was appointed last week after consecutive seasons without a trophy for the Portuguese club.
He previously worked with Leno as manager of Bayer Leverkusen before the keeper's departure for Arsenal in 2018 for £22.5m.
