Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was known for donning a Spider-Man mask when he scored goals at Borussia Dortmund.
And while he has not been keeping that up during his impressive goalscoring campaign for Arsenal this time around, the reputation has followed him.
That may explain the delight on Aubameyang's face when Arsenal icon Ian Wright posed for a photograph with him on Tuesday.
Wright was visiting Arsenal's London Colney base when met up with Aubameyang.
And, conveniently enough, he was wearing a t-shirt with a Spider-Man design on it.
Wright was also seen turning back the clock as he worked through a series of shooting drills with Aubameyang.
That was fitting, given the fact he captioned up the picture of the two of them on his Instagram page with: 'Strikers only!'
They also seemed to sit down for an interview, based on another photograph uploaded to Wright's Instagram.
Wright has previously suggested Aubameyang could be a legend at Arsenal: 'He's had a phenomenal start to his Arsenal career.
'He's got him on the left hand side, but for someone who has not had a consistent run in the team his goalscoring return will be way up there on the goalscoring charts.
'If he can continue scoring at this rate he probably be well up there in the goalscoring ranks.'

Auba should learn how to score goals to to post pictures on social media I told him that he will still be there and Kane will come back from injury and leapfrog him in goal scoring chart and it seems it will happen because Kane is back for spurs but our Aubameyang will be missing chances like Yakubu
