Arsenal legend Sol Campbell gets OWN age wrong in birthday message before deleting post

Sol Campbell took to social media to thank fans for the birthday wishes only to realise he had got his own age wrong.

The Arsenal legend posted a video where he claims to be 43, despite claims from some fans that he's 44.

But upon realising, Campbell deleted the video and reposted another where he fails to mention his age at all.

In the initial video, Campbell says: '43 years old today. Yes, Sol Campbell. Got to get it right though because some people thought I was 44 for some strange reason, no I'm definitely 43.

'Thank you for all your kind messages around the world, deeply touched by that, really appreciate that and my family does as well.

'Hopefully I'm like a fine wine and get better with age, one year older, one year wiser, as the old saying goes.'

However the former England international took the video down minutes later and replaced it with another from his car where he didn't mention his age at all.

There were some similarities  though as he likened himself to a fine wine once again, before telling his viewers to 'stay strong out there and keep striving for a brighter future'.

Campbell was born on 18 September 1974 and so turned 44 years old on Tuesday.
