I wonder how much Thierry Henry as a player cost today. At least 500 million pounds in today crazy unrealistic market

Don't know when it happened, but really hate this snobbish attitude that has suddenly overcome this country in recent years claiming that you need to be experienced in a certain profession to get a job in that profession. How are you supposed to get the experience if people don't give you the chance in the 1st place. And as for the argument great footballer don't make great managers well tell that too Guardiola, Ancelotti, Paisley, Busby, Munoz, Dagleish, Zidane, Cruyff, Conte, Trapatonni, Stein, Capello, Del Bosque and many more. Most of whom got a big a job straight after they retired from playing and succeeded straight away when the inexperienced got a chance. Yes many of the greatest managers were not great players and some great players did not become top managers but that does not mean you dismiss every great player from getting a shot when so many have succeeded.

As a Spurs fan wish Henry all the best. He was a fantastic player back in the day and hope he can go on to be a top manager. Kind it find of sad that some are hoping he fails just because he player for a rival club. See ne reason why he can't do a fantastic job for Monaco and be a brilliant manager.
