Arsenal midfielder Krystian Bielik is on the brink of a £10million move to Derby.
The Poland Under 21 international, who spent last season on loan at League One Charlton, will undergo a medical on Thursday.
New Rams boss Phillip Cocu is busy strengthening his squad ahead of their Championship opener against Huddersfield on Monday.
And Bielik could be involved after Derby agreed to pay up to £10m for him in installments.
The 21-year-old, who can also play in central defence, joined the Gunners from Legia Warsaw in 2015 but has made only two League Cup appearances.
Bielik spent time on loan at Birmingham and Walsall before helping Charlton win promotion last term, but he is now set for a permanent move away.

Gone at the days of Gazidiz where we sold our players for cheap price. Now we are making deals no team can come over to Arsenal to just pick any player. They will have to pay through their nose.

Why selling this lad, a great defender when we were having defensive errors 🤔 [Crylaugh]

it’s like saying aubameyang is a winger, he can play there, but it’s an absolute waste, bielik is a quality cm and a decent cb

As a Derby fan I very much doubt this. We aren't spending £10m on anyone this summer

Decent fee, 10 million is a good price for him. Quality player.

Derby could easily get promoted to PL next season, so it's a good thing for him.

Get a buyback clause and that's excellent business.

Good age. Looking at his clips from Charlton last year, hes exactly the kind of player we need. Big,strong, defensively very good and looks to get attacks moving quickly. Hope we pull this off.

For FFP reasons, it makes sense to cover costs over several years. At 21, he will be seen as an asset, huge potential.
