Arsenal are reportedly monitoring midfielder Pape Gueye ahead of an expected summer transfer race for the Le Havre star.
Gueye has impressed in the French second division this season and has been described as a combination of fellow French midfielders N'Golo Kante and Paul Pogba.
He has been named captain of Le Havre despite being just 21 - but with his contract due to expire at the end of next season, the Ligue 2 club will face a battle to keep him this summer.
And Mikel Arteta's Arsenal are among at least four clubs keeping tabs on Gueye ahead of the summer transfer window opening, according to one report.
Spanish publication Estadio Deportivo claims Arsenal are interested in Gueye, but could face competition from Sevilla, AC Milan and Udinese, who are also said to be tracking the box-to-box midfielder.
The former France under-19 international was also linked with interest from Valencia last summer, the publication says.
With finances tight at the Emirates, Arsenal boss Arteta was only able to bring in defenders Cedric Soares and Pablo Mari on loan in the January transfer.
But the Spaniard is expected to have a much busier summer as he attempts to overhaul a squad that has failed to challenge for the Champions League places this season.
Arsenal are also considering a summer move for Lille defender Gabriel Magalhaes, according to reports.
Gabriel has played 29 times for the French club this season and is believed to have caught the attention of both the Gunners and Everton with his performances.
Arsenal are currently monitoring the 22-year-old after making enquiries about the Brazilian in January, according to The Sun.
Although Gabriel cost the Ligue 1 side just £1.5million in 2017, it is claimed that Lille President Gerard Lopez is expected to hold out for a fee of around £30m.
That is based on the £27m Arsenal spent last summer on defender William Saliba, who will be joining up with his Emirates teammates ahead of next season after the defender returned to previous club St Etienne on loan for the current campaign.
