Arsenal have opened talks with AS Roma for attacking midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo.
And Roma are prepared to sell the Italy international with less than 18 months to run on his contract.
La Repubblica says the Gunners have opened talks with Roma for the former Inter Milan junior.
No concrete offer has been made - and Roma have ruled out a loan departure - but a sale worth €30-40m will be considered. A loan with an obligation to buy is also an option they'll consider.
And Gunners manager Mikel Arteta is keen, where Zaniolo would arrive as a direct alternative to Chelsea signing Mykhaylo Mudryk.
