Arsenal players invite a 'lost' mascot to join their team photo before UEL clash

Cute young mascot did not know where to go so he gets included in Arsenal team photo.

The Gunners took to the pitch for their Europa League clash against Olympiacos in Greece focused on getting the job done and starting quickly.

But that does not mean they can't take a little time out to make one fan's day.

The teams made their way to the pitch with each player holding hands with a mascot before lining up on the pitch to hear the Europa League anthem.

As the teams went for their handshakes, the mascots left the pitch. Or they were supposed to, at least.

One young fan stayed on the field with a 'deer in the headlights' look, clearly unaware of what was supposed to happen.

But the Arsenal team leapt into action, encouraging the youngster to join them for their official team photo ahead of the game.

The young man's arrival left big smiles on the faces of Joe Willock, Gabriel Martinelli and Matteo Guendouzi, before the mascot eventually made his way off the pitch and the game could finally get underway.
