Arsenal still have the chance to claim the Premier League title on the final day of the 2023/24 season and it appears that preparations have already taken place ahead of a potential trophy lift.
Arsenal have been spotted rehearsing a mock trophy lift should they make history and claim the 2023/24 Premier League title.
The Gunners still have the chance to claim their first title in 20 years on the final day - albeit in unlikely circumstances. Mikel Arteta's side are two points behind Manchester City.
They have to beat Everton and hope that West Ham can hold Pep Guardiola's side in their respective final games. And despite needing a favour in order to lift the trophy, it appears that preparations are underway for glory.
A video shared on social media has shown club staff taking to the winners' podium alongside the plinth with the trophy on top. It appears that they also collected fake medals - just as the players would if the North London side were named champions.
There was also a large banner placed on the pitch adorned with the word 'Champions'. Ahead of the final day, provisions have also been made by the Premier League.
A trophy will be present at both the Emirates Stadium and Etihad Stadium, with an expert engraver also on hand to etch the eventual champions' name into the trophy. A set of identical medals will also be delivered to each of the grounds ready to present.
While rehearsals for a trophy lift have already taken place, Arsenal have also announced plans for an open-top bus parade. It will take place through the streets of Islington on Monday, May 20.
Speaking ahead of his side's decisive clash against West Ham, Arteta has already expressed his hope of lifting the trophy. Speaking in his pre-match press conference, the Spaniard said: "It's one of the biggest weeks for many of us, and certainly now is the most important moment. I'm really excited and can't wait for Sunday to be in front of us, and obviously I'm very optimistic as well with the possible outcome."
Arteta added: "The hope was there and it didn't happen and now we have to do our job which is going to be tough because Everton are in a really good moment, so we're going have to prove again that we can be better than the opponent and win the game."
"Then we have to wish for the best and for West Ham to have a really good day and help us to fulfill our dream. That's what we're hoping for."
Asked if he believes Man City could actually drop points, the Arsenal boss replied: "We all know that they are a little bit closer because that's one game less and they have to play at home, but they're going play a really tough opponent."
"We have suffered this season and over the last few seasons, it is really tough to beat them. I'm sure they're going to be very at it and hopefully they can help us to achieve our dream."

I must cook White Rice to Partey this Sunday when the Havertz fall because Jesus did not come back and Gabriel fails to defend him

so you're blaming injuries on your shitastrophies now? I also had injuries through out the season on my key players just like your punk azz,.. I lost the title last season cos Saliba got injured at the crucial moment of our title race so no excuses here. But you still haven't answered my question about suckkin dickkz and twerking azz for your greatest rival,... so what's it gonna be Mr Nitwito? 😂😂
I prefer to suck dck them than you get the trophy…you’re more noisier than our neighbors. No wonder Son did what he did to you guys. Antonio will do the same to you guys today. Man city is not my greatest rival. Liverpool is United’s greatest rival. So stfu and go get a life. I’ll still I’m coming back to you after ur cry today 😜.
