Arsenal stars go sightseeing in Dubai as they take break from training

A quartet of Arsenal players were given the chance to enjoy what Dubai has to offer as they took a break from their warm-weather training camp on Sunday.

Unai Emery has taken 23 players over to the United Arab Emirates in an effort to keep them sharp during the international break.

And the Gunners boss allowed his men some well-deserved time off as they went sightseeing on Sunday.

Mesut Ozil, Bernd Leno, Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Shkodran Mustafi were all smiles as they were ferried around on a tour bus, visiting the city's main landmarks and attractions.

The four footballers enjoyed views from the 150-metre high Dubai Frame before making their way to the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa.

Emery is eager for his players to be in good shape ahead of Arsenal's next game, which sees them host Newcastle on April 1.

The north London outfit will play a friendly against Al Nasr next week before returning to England for the business end of the season.

There are a host of youngsters involved on the trip, including exciting winger Xavier Amaechi and dependable right-back Jordi Osei-Tutu.

Striker Tyreece John-Jules, who has gained plenty of experience at U23 level this season, will also be aiming to catch Emery's eye.

Hector Bellerin, Rob Holding and Danny Welbeck, who are all recovering from long-term injuries, have also travelled with the squad as they continue fitness work.
