According to Foot Mercato, Arsenal are willing to lower their asking price to facilitate Eddie Nketiah’s (25) move away from his boyhood club to Olympique de Marseille.
Marseille had seemingly given up on trying to convince Arsenal to part ways with the English forward after their initial offers had fallen short of the Premier League club’s expectations of €35 million.
Last night Marseille had made an opening offer for RC Lens’ Elye Wahi (21) in a clear indication that they were now pursuing other options as they look to find a recruit capable of filling the hole that has been left by the departure of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (35).
However, Foot Mercato reports that Arsenal have softened their stance and it is now up to Les Phocéens to see if they will return to their previous target, and try and bring Nketiah to the Stade Vélodrome this summer. The club and player had reportedly already agreed personal terms.

dat is why clubs love to underprice us ..If Alvarez was a second striker for arsenal athletico would be coming wit 35m but dey just paid 95m euros to city. if Gallagher played for arsenal wit how average he is, athletico would have offered 20m Max but dey paid 40m to Chelsea..we need to change dat and for me a striker pf nketiah level is 40m or more in today's market
40 for a bench warmer ?😹😹 If u want more from a player play him Who buys a bench warmer for 40m+ Gallagher is a starter that’s y he was bought for much more You guys bench your players a lot arteta hardly rotates the squad If u don’t lower he will keep warming your bench U should know the idea of coming to a team and taking a player that start is worth more than someone who benches
