Ansu Fati's Barcelona transfer decision
Ansu Fati has decided he wants to push for an exit from Barcelona this summer amid links with a move to Arsenal in the transfer window. That's according to AS, which reports that the young winger feels he isn't trusted with a starting position at the club under head coach Xavi.
The 20-year-old has shown plenty of promise in his time with Barca and it remains to be seen how much the club would value him at, with a deal until 2027 on the books alongside the club option of an extra two years.
Martin Odegaard contract talks
Arsenal have opened fresh contract talks with club captain Martin Odegaard in the coming months, says reporter Charles Watts. The Norwegian international has just under two years remaining on his current deal, which has sparked the discussions to reward him with an extension.
The Gunners have moved quickly in recent times to tie down their best players to new deals that reflect their importance, with the likes of Bukayo Saka, William Saliba and Gabriel Martinelli amongst a host of contract signings in months gone by.
Nuno Tavares proposal
Nottingham Forest have submitted a formal offer for Arsenal left-back Nuno Tavares this summer, reports transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano. The East Midlands outfit are looking to secure the Portuguese youngster on a permanent deal following on from his loan spell with Marseille last season.
While a deal is yet to be accepted from the Gunners, they are open to an exit, while negotiations are continuing on the player side of things.

Xavi doesn't like Ansu Fati. I have said this several times and I will still say it. The reason why Ansu Fati is still at Barcelona is the contract and the board of directors at FC Barcelona. Now that Ansu Fati has seen it for himself that no matter how hard he plays, his Coach doesn't appreciate him, the lad has decided to play for money instead of love for the club. That being said; Xavi is celebrating because he has always been looking for the reason to get number 10 off Ansu Fati and give it to Pedri. The talent that Xavi has killed in Ansu Fati by not trusting him after the injury despite the lad's improvements in performances. Xavi has never said anything positive about Ansu Fati, not evening celebrating his goals; at some point, Xavi even denied the lad a handshake 🤝 after taking him off the pitch. We know Xavi the manager for our club who is eager to deliver results; however, he must never forget facts. Ansu Fati was FC Barcelona's second highest goal scorer last season despite mostly playing the last 25 - 30 minutes of the game. Now, due to hatred in Xavi's heart for the boy, the lad's performance goes unnoticed. Ansu Fati plays because he's Spaniard, otherwise it even hurts Xavi that Ansu Fati is Spaniard. Ansu Fati; I'm glad you've seen it for yourself that you're not needed by Xavi, and that will help you with confidence should you join a new club. It's football that you play, you don't play Xavi or FC Barcelona; hence anywhere they play football, you will succeed and Barcelona will pay lot for your services in future Keep positive Ansu Fati; you will surely succeed 🥀🌹💖
