A striker who has set Serie A alight in his debut season has opened up about his passion for Arsenal .
Poland forward Krzysztof Piatek joined Genoa in the summer, and impressed so much he sealed a £31m move to Milan in January.
The 23-year-old has scored 26 goals in 29 games in all competitions this season, including 18 goals in Serie A.
But in an interview, Piatek has revealed his two favourite European teams, and neither of them are Italian, football.london reports.
Piatek said: "I have two favourite clubs abroad. Arsenal, although as you know, it's hard to be a fan of Arsenal because you have to suffer a lot.
"I also like PSG. It's my favourite club in Europe. I hope they will win the league and reach the final of the Champions League "
While Piatek may not currently be on their radar, the Gunners are already eyeing up possible summer transfers.
Having missed out on a late January move for Yannick Carrasco - Arsenal are back in the market for the Belgian in the summer.
A deadline day swoop for the 25-year-old was left too late after the Gunners were unable to agree a loan fee with Chinese side Dalian Yifang.
But they are likely to have more funds freed up in the summer as they attempt to lure Carrasco back to Europe.
According to the Express , the Gunners are still in the market for the ex-Monaco and Atletico Madrid man, who is known to be keen to get out of China.

it's definitely not easy being an Arsenal fan but I guess that's what makes it interesting... the suspense of neva knowing what could happen... hope Piatek can join someday... but it's definitely not going to be now... plus Ac Milan won't sell for cheap... the best striker in Seria A as far as am concerned... big fan of this guy... gunners till we die

he's a true Gunner! we sign players and all they talk about is attacking football and Thierry Henry, those are superficial, the true story is that it takes a lot of heart and a forgiving spirit to support Arsenal!
