Arsenal have spent nearly £200million this summer but the Gunners aren't slowing down, pursuing a deal for Eberechi Eze and entering talks with William Saliba over a new contract
What now for Arsenal? The Gunners have finally completed the signing of Viktor Gyokeres, ending the summer's biggest transfer saga so far.
Arsenal announced his £63.7million transfer on Saturday and now they can move on to other priorities. Even after Gyokeres' arrival and the signing of Noni Madueke, Gunners boss Mikel Arteta is still looking for refresh his attack.
Plenty of names have been bandied about, including that of Real Madrid winger Rodrygo and Aston Villa's Morgan Rogers. But Eberechi Eze appears to be Arsenal's top target, as they aim to bring the Crystal Palace playmaker back after releasing him as a teenager.
But it's not all about incomings, with their spending already close to the £200m mark. The Gunners will have to sanction departures before the summer transfer window closes on September 1 while they're also working on contract renewals.
Here's a round-up of the latest transfer news from the Emirates.
Saliba reveals contract stance
William Saliba says that he'll 'hopefully' sign a new contract with Arsenal. Saliba's current deal expires in 2027 and the Gunners are keen to tie him down for the long term like centre-back partner Gabriel Magalhaes, who's under contract for four more years.
Asked during Arsenal's pre-season tour of Asia whether he was going to sign a new deal, the 24-year-old Frenchman confirmed: "Yeah, hopefully. Of course there is nothing now but there is a good conversation with my agent and the club. Let's see."
Crystal Palace identify Eze replacement
Crystal Palace have reportedly added Leicester midfielder Bilal El Khannouss to their shortlist of players who could replace Eberechi Eze. Arsenal are shifting their focus to Eze, 27, and hope to sign England international for below his £68m release clause.
Eze is understood to be open to joining Arsenal which has prompted Palace to identify potential replacements. According to reports from his native Belgium, El Khannouss is one of them. It's added that RB Leipzig are also fans of the Morocco international but neither club have made an approach.

Chelsea poised to close Hato deal
Arsenal are set to miss out on Ajax starlet Jorrel Hato, who's on the verge of joining Chelsea. Hato, 19, has already agreed personal terms with the Gunners' London rivals.
Chelsea are expected to pay over £34.8million for the left-sided defender. Arsenal had been tracking Hato while he was also linked with Liverpool.

Ebereche Eze would be another great piece of business by Arsenal. I think Arsenal are gradually building something dreadful. With a mixture of Hale End academy products such as Saka Skelly (more emerging such as Dowman) who have Gunners gene in the, plus players who rejected all overtures from other clubs in dusting only on wearing the Arsenal jersey (such as Zubimendi, Mosquera, Noni and Gyokeres), the empire looks very, very impeccable. Arsenal is Eze's boyhood club and, like Noni, he's made it clear he want to return home. Should Arsenal get Eze you'd be seeing an Arsenal team made of players that only want to play for Arsenal, essentially when you consider the fact that the two best central defenders in Europe (Saliba and Maghalhaes) have rejected a record money moves to Saudi Arabia and Spain because they want to win the biggest trophies for Arsenal. The only person I pity is Arteta himself. As the manager, Mikel would be under massive pressure to win it and if he fails, he is most unlikely to survive the sack in a season, or two at most.
