The main saga surrounding Arsenal's window is set to end with Mesut Ozil's long protracted exit set to be confirmed.
The World Cup winner is set to undergo a medical ahead of his free transfer to Fenerbache. On Sunday he said: “I am a Fenerbahce fan. As a Fenerbahce fan, god made it possible to wear that jersey. I will do my best."
That move could free up some valuable funds for Mikel Arteta to make some additions to his squad, with Ozil's hefty salary set to come off the wage bill.
The Gunners boss has hinted that the window's priority will be on trimming the squad, but they have still been linked with a number of incomings.
Mirror Sport cast an eye over the latest gossip emanating from north London, with updates on Arsenal's pursuit of Neto, as well as potential exits for Alexandre Lacazette and Hector Bellerin.
Neto update
Arsenal have been given a boost in their pursuit of Barcelona keeper Neto, with reports in Spain claiming a deal could happen.
The Gunners could be in the market for another stopper to provide a more experienced back-up to Bernd Leno.
31-year-old Neto has been linked with a move to north London, with Barca boss Ronald Koeman forced to come out and outline their stance on a move.
He said: "It's true that his representative has asked the club for an exit and we have said no because he is an important goalkeeper for us and we want to be very well covered at each position."
Despite Koeman’s claims, Mundo Deportivo via Sport Witness state that Arsenal’s pursuit will continue, but they will need to pay a good fee in order to strike a deal.
Neto’s agent Kia Joorabchian has close links with Gunners boss Edu, which has raised hopes a deal completed this month.
Madrid pair in for Laca
Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are both interested in signing Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette, according to reports.
The Frenchman has 18 months left on his current deal and it has been claimed that contract won’t be extended beyond the summer of 2022.
Spanish news outlet AS (via talkSPORT) claim the two La Liga clubs are set to renew their interest amid what is described as a ‘strained’ relationship with Arteta.
Both were in the market for Lacazette before he moved to north London in 2017 and could finally land their man at some point this year.
Poch plans Arsenal raid
Former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is interested in signing Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin, Calciomercato claim.
The Ligue 1 champions were heavily linked with the Spaniard in the summer window and were believed to have made a £25million offer.
That interest could now be reunited, with the Italian news outlet listing PSG as one of three clubs in the race for Bellerin.
Along with Pochettino’s new team, Barcelona and Juventus are offered as potential suitors for the 25-year-old.

Bellerín to PSG? As much as I'd love to see another average player off the books, I doubt if Arteta will be willing to sell his adopted son
