ARSENAL have confirmed their victory parade route... should they win the Premier League title.
The Gunners are a point clear at the top of the Premier League as they look to end a 20-year wait to be crowned champions.
Despite that advantage, title holders Manchester City still remain favourites to finish first.
They still have a game in hand on Mikel Arteta’s men with games at Fulham and Tottenham followed by a home clash with West Ham.
Arsenal travel to Manchester United on Sunday and then finish the season by hosting Everton, which they hope will be the start of their title celebrations.
And the club have begun preparations accordingly for the party should they beat the Cityzens to the crown.
However, nobody is getting ahead of themselves just yet at the Emirates.
It is a requirement due to planned road closure notices plus the other operational requirements that need to be sorted in advance with the council and police.
As things stand, the preliminary plans are for the victory parade to take place on Monday 20 May.
The potential parade will begin at the Emirates Stadium at 5pm, with a bus travelling along Drayton Park, Aubert Park, Highbury Grove, St Paul’s Road, Upper Street and back to the stadium.
It will arrive back at the Emirates at 7pm, where the players will then appear on the podium above The Armoury store on Hornsey Road.
The celebrations are then scheduled to officially end at 8pm - although fans and stars would almost certainly go on to party into the night.
Arsenal have also made initial plans regarding policing and stewarding to help the event run smoothly with barriers and cordons set to be erected.
And that means that limits will be set on the amount of people allowed to view the area adjacent to the ground.
And local residents have also been advised to carry ID with their address on it to help them navigate a way through the expected large crowds.
Meanwhile, parking suspensions will be enforced from 8:30am on Monday with all vehicles requested to be moved from along the route by then.
The council will then need to remove them if that request is not met.
At 4pm the road closures will come into place while restrictions will be lifted as early as possible - which has been estimated to be around 9pm.
Meanwhile, buses around Islington will be diverted because of the road closures on the parade.
And possible matchday controls may also be put in place on nearby tube stations Arsenal, Holloway Road, Highbury & Islington and Finsbury Park Tube stations.
Fans that want to attend the potential event are advised to check the TFL website for latest updates.
The route is the same as Arsene Wenger’s ‘Invincibles’ embarked on after they won the Premier League title back in 2003/04.

Why all these now??? Arsenal should rather prepare for next season and stop this nonsense. Man C, will NOT drop anymore points. That I can tell whoever care to listen. We made a great mistake with our selection against Aston villa which I believe cost us the title.
You think it's so easy , anything is possible and let's say city do drop points and we win how are we going to prepare with little time left

Hi Gunner, you have done good play this season but hehehe better you start the title parade now bcoz if you wait till the end you won't be able to make it. Do it while you still at the 🔝

Dreamers. In what world does Arsenal think they will beat City to title? City is winning all its matches that’s all they need to do.

They can pull in all their Oil Money and delay 115 FFP when others teams are being deducted up to 8 points for 1/2 FFP.....Nothing will stop us now, not even ref, VAR or the 4-0 7up drinkers......We will parade with that trophy on the streets of London......COYG...🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉✴️✴️✴️✴️✴️✴️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️

Arsenal spent more money than Man City's oil money in the past 10 seasons and still couldn't win a single EPL, I think the 115 charges should be hunting Arsenal instead because it doesn't seem to bother Man City
