Arsenal news: The Gunners are still stepping up their preparations for the ongoing season by playing out a behind closed doors friendly vs Luton, with a double-injury return

The match consisted of three sets of 30 minutes, allowing for a good work out for both sides and a whole range of appearances across their squads. Arsenal beat their opponent 3-0 with two goals from Trossard and one from Saka. There were first-team appearances for the Gunners and the Hatters, with some new faces and injury returns involved.

Both sides aren't in action over the weekend, with Arsenal not playing until Monday when they make the short trip across London to face Crystal Palace. As for Luton, their match with Burnley had to be rearranged due to works taking place at Kenilworth Road to ensure the stadium is Premier League ready.

A workout for them, alongside the rest of the squad, should bring them one step closer to being as fit and ready as possible for another busy season ahead.
