On August 8, Arsenal officially announced the signing of Bruno Guimaraes. Following the announcement, Arsenal's official website announcement page displayed a 404 error for an extended period.
Shortly after the announcement was published, the page entered a 404 "page not found" state, but the official website announcement has since returned to normal.
According to reports, Guimaraes's transfer from Newcastle United to Arsenal was completed for £75 million, with both parties agreeing a contract through 2030.
