Gilles Grimandi is leaving his role as Arsenal's leading French scout as the post Arsene Wenger revamp continues.
The former Gunners defender played a key role under Wenger, heading up the club's scouting network in France.
But the club's scouting team has undergone significant change since the appointment of Sven Mislintat as head of recruitment mid-way through last season.
Grimandi has been linked with roles with Nice and AC Milan in recent weeks.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are hopeful of having left-back Nacho Monreal available for Sunday's visit to Bournemouth.
The defender has missed over a month with a hamstring injury, but there is hope the Spaniard will be available to return this weekend.
Strike duo Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who are carrying minor problems, are expected to be available.
