Aubameyang & Guendouzi mimic Lacazette celebration in training

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Matteo Guendouzi didn't look to be feeling the pressure of Arsenal's top-four pursuit in Friday's training session.

The duo enjoyed a joke at Alexandre Lacazette's expense as they mimicked his goal celebration in a moment of downtime ahead of Saturday's clash with West Ham.

The Gunners head to east London for the Premier League's early kick off looking to trim the three-point lead that fourth-place Chelsea hold over them.

Unai Emery had to balance an array of injury problems throughout the gruelling run of December fixtures but welcomed six players back to training ahead of facing Manuel Pellegrini's side.

Shkodran Mustafi, Mesut Ozil, Hector Bellerin, Nacho Monreal, Laurent Koscielny and Konstantinos Mavropanos all took part in Friday's session at London Colney.

Arsenal won their last Premier League encounter against Fulham 4-1, hitting back strongly after a 5-1 defeat by Liverpool at Anfield.

Ahead of facing the Hammers, Emery has underlined the significance of full-backs to the style of play his is trying to introduce at Arsenak.

'Wing-backs for us, and I think for football generally, give us the opportunity to get wide, and sometimes also the surprise of getting deep,' Emery said. 'They give control with the ball when you have players inside.

'They can go outside, keeping wide and going deep for the last attacking moment. But also it's very important for every team, and for us as well, for them to defensively and tactically have quality.

'Maybe they can be runners and have the capacity to add the attacking moments when the team needs it. They can offer a surprise with an attacking moment. But not forgetting that for every defensive player, the first work from them is defensively.'
