Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has missed Arsenal's midweek trip to face Wolves due to a sinus problem.
The Gabon striker leading scorer in the Premier League for Arsenal with 19 goals in 33 games.
Arsenal confirmed he had a procedure to sort a sinus issue and he will be assessed ahead of Sunday's tie against Leicester City.
In Aubameyang's absence, manager Unai Emery opted to put Frenchman Alexandre Lacazette through the middle with Alex Iwobi and Henrikh Mkhitaryan providing support in wide areas.
The procedure was successful and Arsenal are hopeful they can bring Aubvameyang back into the matchday squad for the weekend match against Leicester.
After a win for rivals Tottenham on Tuesday night, Arsenal needed a big result in Aubameyang's absence to bolster their bid for a top four finish but they made the worst possible start when they fell behind to a Ruben Neves free-kick.

I am happy with the explanation, that is my area of work and one doesn't go to theater for siuses that only just started giving them problems. So so make myself better, I will assume Auba played over the weekend under some strong painkillers because sinusitis gives you a terrible headache! Let's hope he gets better soon so he can give us better performances in the remaining games!

When Arsenal wins Emery is the best coach in the world but when they lose you want his head. He’s done so well this season. Wait till next season before you start criticizing him.

arsenal slide continues it used to be a stiff competition at the top but now struggling to be among the top four. if something is not done to before quickly before the beginning of next football season, arsenal we become a middle of the table club.
