Milan midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko is being linked with a shock move to city rivals Inter.
According to Sport Mediaset, ‘what seemed like a mere suggestion a few hours ago is turning into a real cause for negotiation.’
The website explains Inter general manager Beppe Marotta has an ‘excellent’ relationship with Bakayoko’s Italian representative Federico Pastorello.
Milan have a €35m option to buy the Frenchman this summer, but they would have ‘no intention’ of exercising it on economic and disciplinary grounds.
Therefore, another loan worth €5-6m could be negotiated with an option to buy set at €30-32m as the Chelsea loanee is ‘very happy’ in Milan.
