Tiemoue Bakayoko is intent on winning his place in Chelsea's starting line-up next season after a positive loan spell with AC Milan.
The 24-year-old was one of the Serie A club's star performers last season, but Milan will not sign the midfielder on a permanent deal.
The failure to qualify Champions League however means AC Milan are unable to sign the French international. He will therefore return to Chelsea where he signed a five-year contract in 2017.
'There are some pretty interesting, quite big clubs that have inquired, but we give priority to Chelsea,' Abdoulaye Bakayoko, his brother and agent told L'Equipe.
'We already know, there is the Champions League and we are looking for stability. Tiémoué has decided to stay there.'
The Frenchman scored one goal in 42 appearances during the 2018-19 campaign.

I liked Bakayoko very much and l was sure he was rushed into playing before recovering fully from a serious knee injury almost similar to that of Zouma. His injury needed a year to heal properly and for him to play low profile football which was not the case. His style of play is almost similar to that of RLC and both players love carrying the ball forward and are full of running. Jorginho will change his game next season and the team will be playing differently from the back to the front. Don’t be surprised if Dave would be among those gracing the bench as we all saw that youngster playing in his position in America and was far better. I wish the ban stands but who knows what may happen with either decision. I stick with the ban.

Deserves his chance but he needs to make sure his work rate is up to scratch and that he has sorted out his attitude. If he really has developed, then he deserve the chance. But personally I think he should have another season to prove he is Chelsea quality
