Barcelona are refusing to meet Marc-Andre ter Stegen's contract demands after the German goalkeeper asked to be paid €15million a year.

The 27-year-old Germany international originally had to settle for appearances in the cup competitions as Claudio Bravo was Barcelona's first choice custodian in the league.

However, he became Barcelona's out-and-out first choice keeper when Bravo left the club to join Manchester City in August 2016.

Ter Stegen, who has two years left to run on his contract, has a release clause of £158m inserted into his current deal.
