Barcelona and Juventus will reportedly explore the possibility of a stunning move for Crystal Palace legend Wilfried Zaha.

The Ivory Coast international is in the final year of his contract at Selhurst Park, after making 441 appearances over two stints for the club.

His time at the Eagles could be coming to an end as he is in the final year of his deal, and he is free to negotiate a pre-contract with overseas clubs as of January 1.

The Evening Standard have reported that two clubs who could look to snap him up on a free next summer are European giants Barcelona and Juventus.

It's said that Zaha is expected to receive a number of lucrative offers, with both Barcelona and Juventus considering him to be a good fit for their respective club.

Barcelona, despite their financial issues, spent ยฃ137million in the last transfer window, and were also able to bring in the likes of Andreas Christensen, Franck Kessie, Hector Bellerin and Marcos Alonso in on free transfers.

Given the club's situation, they could look to also benefit from Zaha being available on a free, and it's said that Nou Camp officials view his mix of 'direct running and smart finishing' as a good fit to bolster their attack.

Juventus meanwhile have suffered a horrendous start to the season in all competitions.

They, like Barcelona, have crashed out of the Champions League, while they also sit seventh in the Serie A standings.

It's said that Bianconeri bosses see Zaha as a potential foil for their current attacking talents, including the likes of Dusan Vlahovic and Federico Chiesa.

Zaha has been a constant inclusion in football gossip columns over the years, and he had been expected to leave the club on several occasions.

Arguably the closest he came to leaving was in 2019 when Arsenal were strongly linked, and then manager Unai Emery later admitted that he wanted to sign Zaha over Nicolas Pepe - who instead arrived at the Gunners for ยฃ72million.

Other clubs including Chelsea and Roma have also been linked with the 29-year-old's services.

Despite not getting his big move to date, Zaha has remained professional and given his all for Palace.

He's still playing at a high level and so far this season has scored five goals in 11 Premier League appearances.

Palace are keen to sign Zaha to a new contract, though it could be tough to stop him from seeking a new challenge.

The likes of Barcelona and Juventus will have an advantage over Premier League sides, given they can speak to Zaha about a transfer as soon as January.
