Barcelona are exploring the prospect of bringing Thiago Alcantara back from Liverpool.
Sport says Barca want to bring back the La Masia graduate in January as cover for injured midfielder Gavi.
Despite his injury problems at Anfield, Barca chiefs believe Thiago will be happier in Spain where his body will be better suited to LaLiga demands.
Barca would seek a loan deal with Liverpool for the 32 year-old, who's deal at Anfield expires in June.
Thiago, meanwhile, is also courting interest from Inter Milan and Juventus in Italy.
