Barcelona have been trying to sell defender Clement Lenglet for the past three seasons, with his salary vastly outweighing his role in the team. Over the past two seasons he has gone on loan to Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa, but neither side have pursued a permanent deal, and Lenglet has turned down two offers to leave Barcelona.
The Blaugrana have a multitude of central defenders on their books for next season, and will likely look to sell two or three of them in the summer. Lenglet is one of the players they hope to move on, with one of the highest wages in the squad. As was the case last summer though, Lenglet has turned down two offers from Saudi Arabia to leave the club.
The French defender is keen to play in Europe, and either wants to return to the Premier League next season or move to a team in European competition. Marca say that finding an exit for Lenglet is unlikely to be quick. With two years left on his deal, Barcelona will want to sell this summer, and were willing to part with him last year for just €8m.
The 28-year-old has shown that in a good system, he remains a good defender, and capable of performing at the top level. Nevertheless, few sides are likely to want to hand a major contract to defender in their late twenties if they are not a starter at the top level. Understandably, Lenglet will not want to take a major wage cut.

that's how a looser behave if you don't have confidence in yourself. two different loan in two different teams no one wants you money or not accept you are not even good as an average player
So he’s a loser, like you, but not the ppl who offered him the contract to put your club in this situation yet again? Your logic is flawed just like your clubs finances

As i said before, Barca needs to hire a management firm to look at their financial decisions. They need to stop with their nonsense contracts. Valverde was the highest paid coach. Xavi had Flick twice salary. Neto, the substitute keeper, had a bigger salary than Alison Liverpool. Stop the hemorrhagy and balance the book gradually.
