Riqui Puig was on the receiving end of a heavy challenge from Anselm Pasquina as Barcelona B took on Llagostera on Saturday, which saw the latter sent off in stoppage time.
Barcelona posted on social media later on to suggest the 20-year-old was okay, despite leaving the pitch on a stretcher.
"Riqui Puig has a bruise on his right fibula that doesn't seem too serious," they wrote.
"Additional tests will be done to rule out other injuries."
