Javi Galan was a relative unknown outside Spain for most of his career until the 2020/21 season. That term, the Spanish left-back was the standout performer in a forgettable campaign for SD Huesca, and he earned a move to a bigger club in La Liga when he joined Celta Vigo last summer.

The 27-year-old took no time to establish himself as a pivotal figure for the Galician club and has missed only two games all season.
