The first controversial refereeing decision in the Champions League semi-final first leg between Barcelona and Liverpool came in the 15th minute.
Lionel Messi thought that Joel Matip had handled the ball in the penalty area, but Bjorn Kuipers waved away the complaints.
"It looks like a penalty because [Matip's] hand isn't in a natural position," Radio MARCA's resident referee Juan Andujar Oliver said.
Luis Suarez gave the hosts the lead in the 26th minute when he lifted Jordi Alba's cross past Alisson Becker in the Liverpool goal.
