Barcelona agreed a fee for Las Palmas starlet Pedro Gonzalez Lopez, known simply as 'Pedri', and should a series of add-ons be met, such as international call-ups and first-team appearances, the side from Gran Canaria could receive up to 25 million euros for the 16-year-old midfielder.
Las Palmas president Miguel Angel Rodriguez has explained that they will receive 6.5 million euros at the end of the season, which will be a five million euro fee with 1.5 million euros in add-ons, but Pedri's progression could see that amount increase significantly.
"The figure could go up to 25 million euros in the coming years," Rodriguez said in relation to all the add-ons in the deal.
Pedri will stay at Las Palmas this season and could keep him for the next campaign too, should Barcelona not loan him to a team in a higher division than the Canary Islanders.
There was a lot of interest in Pedri, which Rodriguez himself alluded to.
"The three big teams in Spain [Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid] and a foreign club, who offered nine million euros," he stated when asked about who was tracking the midfielder.
Despite having a nine million euro offer on the table, Barcelona's add-ons ensured that they were the team who secured Pedri's signature. Las Palmas, in addition, have retained a 15 percent sell-on fee.

You get that price, from what Miguel A. Ramirez says, whose credibility is zero, there will be 5, if anything. If you have doubts, ask for Canarian integral security.

We are 25 million if it ends up being a crack that goes to the national team and everything ... is still a bargain ... others pay 120 for rodrygo and vinicius no matter what ...

Of course, later the so-called big ones throw flowers when they talk about their respective quarries built based on a continuous plundering of the talent of the rest of the teams. Even so, in this case, Las Palmas has triumphed, mostly because of how crazy football has become today.

I saw Pedri here at La Rosaleda the other day, the kid played with an incredible self-confidence. He is very young, patience with him, but he can become great. If it costs Barcelona 25 million it will be a good sign, by the way, if it meets all those variables so that it ends up being worth that price it will be super profitable.

Might. How they like to inflate others. Then hazard is 100 in all the news and vinicius 45, they only variables when they sell as rain (40) in reality 30 plus 10 in variables and when they file they disappear. Eye that I asked could actually cost Barça three hundred kilos, because as the palms is left with a 15 surplus value of a possible transfer if the club sells them for five billion euros 15% is for palms. Hey COULD. That if for now there are 5 plus 1.5 variables, but COULD .....

If it reaches that figure it is because the kid has come to debut with the absolute. In addition, over the next few years. So it is not to rub your hands so much (although I don't know the financial situation of the yellow team).

If they can be 25 maximum, taking into account how Barcelona does its business, the variables must be divided into two parts: They will be 10 of easy and 10 difficult variables, so it is almost certain by 15 at the end and if it becomes international with the Barcelona or pichichi or something like that, another 10 more. In any case, if it is a case that Pedro leaves after several years giving everything (titles included) you end up recovering the amount ...

I hope they get paid in full, that will mean that the kid has done well, and it will be good for both Las Palmas and Barça

I hope that all those capital gains of which he speaks are not like those of VITOLO in his signature with Sevilla. By the way, Mr. Ramírez! Did he charge already ?, or of those millions we must not speak. You are a real boot. It does not make a right. Too bad Entity, in the hands of an arrogant absolutist.

Giving Las Palmas 15 percent sell on and getting him for a fee that could reach 25 million for a 16 year old shows how inflation has ruined the beauty of football
