Liverpool buys players on impulse. There was no compelling reason to buy Barcola in the first instance. A player on reserve bench at PSG! Slot bought Wirtz with a promise to make him the central man in the squad. Frepoong was another poor decision. My understanding of club buying a player is to fix a deficiency in a particular area. With what is happening at Liverpool, the management will be wiser and more circumspect in future purchases of players
