Defender Davies will be unavailable to Bayern in next week’s Champions League quarter-final return, after picking up a costly early booking at the Emirates.
Alphonso Davies will miss the second leg of Bayern Munich’s Champions League quarter-final with Arsenal, after being booked in today’s opener.
Davies, who is a target for LaLiga club Real Madrid, incurred a one-match ban when he received an early yellow card for a foul on Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka.
Soon afterwards, Saka gave Arsenal a first-leg lead with a fine low shot last Bayern goalkeeper Manuel Neuer. Six minutes after the England international’s goal, however, former Arsenal player Serge Gnabry levelled with a poked finish past Gunners stopper David Raya.
