From Bayer Leverkusen to Borussia Dortmund to Stuttgart, Bundesliga clubs have felt the full force of Bayern Munich's fiscal muscle since the turn of the millennium as the Bavarian club continue to buy in Germany.
Tuesday's news that Stuttgart have agreed a deal worth 35 million euros to sell Benjamin Pavard to the Bundesliga champions in the summer of 2019 was the latest in a long line of domestic sales that have catapulted Bayern Munich to dominance over the past two decades.
Almost every single time a Bundesliga team has found consistent success, Bayern Munich have ultimately signed their best player.
Bayer Leverkusen's Champions League final squad of 2002 was decimated by their rivals with Ze Roberto, Lucio and Michael Ballack all arriving at the Olympiapark in Munich.
It was then the turn of Jurgen Klopp's hugely popular Dortmund side, who had the temerity to win two successive Bundesliga titles from 2010 to 2012 whilst also reaching a Champions League final.
Mario Gotze, Mats Hummels and Robert Lewandowski all ultimately left the Westfalenstadion to join Bayern Munich, with the Polish forward being a particularly controversial transfer saga in its own right.
Since the year 2000, the German giants have spent 395m euros on domestic-based talent, and they sign a domestic player on average at least once a season.
You just need to look at some of the individuals to have made such a move to realise why Bayern Munich have held such a stranglehold on the German top flight, failing to win the title on just six occasions since the 1999/2000 season.
Lukas Podolski, Mario Mandzukic, Manuel Neuer,Luiz Gustavo, Mario Gomez, Miroslav Klose and Joshua Kimmich are prime examples of the level of quality the Bavarian giants have pillaged from their nearest foes.
The signing of Pavard is part of a continued effort to rejuvenate a team that actually looks like surrendering their domestic crown to the wonderfully effervescent Borussia Dortmund side put together by Lucien Favre.
Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery are both coming to an end of their careers at the Allianz Arena, and this explains the concerted effort to secure the signature of Chelsea teenager Callum Hudson-Odoi in January.
Leon Goretzka (23), Alphonso Davies (18), Corentin Tolisso (22), Kingsley Coman (22), Niklas Sule (21) and Serge Gnabry (21) will form the base of the next Bayern Munich team, although there remain question marks over whether this group will be good enough to maintain the club's success.

that's a problem if we get Bailey alongside Werner... we already have Coman, Gnabry, Davies, Werner (if we get him) competing for two positions... and Muller will compete with Havertz ( thai is good ) but with Bailey in we will our wings will be over crowded ... and Werner won't come if he isn't a starter same is case if we get CHO at this time we will not be able to keep all of them happy I think we will have to sell one of our Winger next season to get two new Winger ( Werner + CHO/ Bailey)
