In the history of football, only two teams have won everything in the same season: Pep Guardiola's legendary Barcelona team of 2009, and now, Bayern Munich of 2020.
By beating Tigres in the Club World Cup final, they have added to their domestic and European titles to take their tally for the 2020 season to all six trophies available.
Here, we compare their statistics to determine which side was the better team.
League
Both teams won without much trouble, Barcelona having 87 points, nine more than second-placed Real Madrid, compared to Bayern Munich's 82, 13 more than runners-up Borussia Dortmund.
Barcelona won 27, drew six and lost five, scoring 105 and conceding 34.
Bayern were actually seventh in the Bundesliga after 14 games, leading to the dismissal of Niko Kovac, but then won 19 of their last 20 games in an 18-team division.
Cup
Barcelona won seven games and drew two, scoring 15 and conceding eight, to win the Copa del Rey.
The Bavarians won all six ties of the DFB-Pokal, where all ties are one-off games, scoring 16 and conceding eight.
Champions League
What is curious in the case of the Spanish side is that their finish in third the season before meant that they had to play in the qualification round of the Champions League, beating Wisla Krakow 4-1 on aggregate.
The Cules then won their first five games and lost the lats one in Group C, but did not win both legs of any of their knock-out round ties, relying on Iniestazo at Stamford Bridge to make the final.
Bayern, on the other hand, won all 11 of their fixtures in the tournament, with only the final against Paris Saint-Germain being won by just one goal.
Super Cup
There were goals in both cases as Bayern beat Dortmund 3-2 while Barcelona beat Athletic Club 5-1 over two legs.
UEFA Super Cup
Both teams needed extra time to beat the Europa League winners, with Pedro scoring the only goal against Shakhtar Donetsk and Javi Martinez scoring the winner in a 2-1 victory over Sevilla.
Club World Cup
There was controversy in Benjamin Pavard's goal in the 1-0 win for Bayern over Tigres, but Barcelona needed extra-time to beat Estudiantes de La Plata with Lionel Messi scoring the final goal of the game.
Overall numbers
Guardiola's Barcelona ended the season with 46 wins, 13 draws, six defeats, 163 goals scored and 59 conceded.
Bayern, who played 10 games less, ended with 47 wins, four draws, four defeats, 167 goals scored and 51 conceded.
Working on averages per game, Bayern scored more and Barcelona conceded less.

TBH let me just ask you, what power house did Bayern defeat last season! Barca and Madrid were in utter mess, especially your Chelsea, but look back in 2009, Barca defeated title favourites Man UTD and Madrid by 6 goals...(Tbh in Spain the competition is more tougher than Germany)
