Bayern Munich are reportedly 'determined' to sell Kingsley Coman at the end of the season to avoid losing him on a free at the end of his contract.

The French winger is contracted at the Bundesliga champions until the end of the 2022/23 season.

Both parties have so far failed to come to terms on a new deal, with Bayern said to be refusing to meet Coman's wage demands.

AS Sport have now reported that the club are keen to part ways with the 25-year-old  next summer and sell him on before his contract expires.

Bayern have been in this situation before, most recently with David Alaba who left in the most recent transfer window.

After more than a decade at the German giants, Alaba decided to leave the club at the end of his contract to join Real Madrid.

Bayern are keen to avoid a repeat of Alaba and would prefer to sell him on like they did with Thiago in 2020.

The Spanish midfielder was an essential part of Bayern's team that won the Champions League in the 2019-20 season but didn't have long left on his contract.

Liverpool made the move for Thiago, bringing him to Anfield for a fee worth around £25m.

Coman is one of the most decorated players in world football, winning the league title wherever he has played since the 2012-13 season.

After spells at Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus, he joined Bayern Munich in the summer of 2015 on a loan which eventually turned permanent.

Bayern reportedly have two names on their list to replace Coman, in the form of RB Salzburg forward Karim Adeyemi and Ajax's Brazilian star Antony.
