According to German Sky, Bayern have reached a total verbal agreement with Kyle Walker

German Sky reporter Florian Plettenberg: The club now has to reach an agreement with Manchester City, ready to sign for FC Bayern as he said YES today! Contract until 2025 + 1 as revealed. 

The 33-year-old has enjoyed an extraordinary six seasons at the Etihad, winning multiple Premier League titles as well as the Champions League.

He played 39 games for City as they secured a historic treble in 2022/23 but was occasionally dropped for big games, including the the UCL final. Walker later admitted the decision left him 'gutted'.

His long-stay in the Premier League is set to come to an end as he has agreed to join Bayern on a two-year deal with the option of an additional year according to Sky reporter Florian Plattenberg.

The Bundesliga champions will now seek to find an agreement with City with a view to finalising the deal.

Thomas Tuchel is believed to be the driving force behind the pursuit, with Walker's contract at City set to expire next summer.

Mail Sport previously reported that Sheffield United were keen on bringing Walker back to Yorkshire, though a move to Munich would allow him to keep playing Champions League football next season.

Since arriving from Tottenham in 2016, Walker has won 12 trophies, including five Premier Leagues and the Champions league, in 254 games.

In that time, he's also managed to record six goals and 18 assists for Pep Guardiola's history makers.
