Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin has emerged as a key transfer target for Atletico Madrid, according to The Telegraph.
The defender suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury against Chelsea in January, and is set to miss the start of next season as he continues rehabilitation.
That has not stopped Diego Simeone attempting to bring him back to Spain, despite Bellerin being valued at £50million with four years left on the six-and-a-half-year deal he signed in November 2016.
However, Atletico are prepared to offer Vitolo as part of the deal, with Gunners boss Unai Emery having worked with the winger at Sevilla.
The pair won three Europa League titles together in Spain, and Emery may be tempted at the prospect of a reunion.
Vitolo, 29, has played 45 games for the Madrid club and scored only four times since joining in 2017, with half of the 2017/18 season spent on loan at Las Palmas.

Bellerin is a brilliant defender his pace is really great and he's a genuine threat for opposition when he's on the pitch ....... I would never consider Arsenal to sell him since he's too valuable at the club ..... Keep Bellerin And sell Mustafi ...

Who are the potential future Captains of Arsenal decides to sell Bellerin? Yet everything goes as this club, it has become a social experiment for squeezing money out of England by Kroenke.

4 goals in 47 matches since 2017???? I'll rather have Chamakh recalled from retirement & keep Bellerin

What is wrong with A. Madrid? They are chasing after almost all our players. Do they want to swap coaches too?

No way that deal only favours Atletico we might need a winger but we don't have a back up right back and no money to buy one I'd rather we take a risk with Reiss Nelson .

Atletico Madrid have identified Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin as a key transfer target for this summer. They are prepared to try and tempt Unai Emery by offering winger Vitolo.

£50mil with a player for Bellerin, I'd say £65mil and we have a deal. Bellerin is okay, but ball winning and tactical intelligence is not his strengths. His awareness, power and strength is wanting, light weight in Ariel battles, and crossing leaves a lot to be desired. So why keep him if it's possible to secure a quality wingback with appropriate wingback qualities? If Arsenal don't need the striker from the swap deal, pass him on in a deal for a quality wingback who can preferably play on either side, and has more of the qualities Arsenal require from such a baller. Which means from that £65mil it's possible to secure two very good ballers. Plus Bellerin ain't even going to be available til when? And his head isn't on balling!!
