Portuguese giants Benfica and Louisville City have an agreement in place for USMNT prospect Joshua Wynder, as reported by journalist Manuel Veth.
The talented player will sign a contract with the Lisbon outfit when he turns 18 on 2 May. Louisville are set to earn an initial $1.2m plus bonuses from the transfer fee.
Wynder plays as a centre-back and has been called into the USA U20 setup. He has represented the U19 side five times.
The U20 Men’s National Team squad will head to Spain next week for three games as they prepare for the 2023 FIFA U20 World Cup in May.
