Ahead of Sunday's clash between the two rivals, the pair joined host Amelia Dimoldenberg on the popular Youtube show, which sees celebrities placed in a mock date scenario.

Organised in conjunction with Copa 90, Silva and Lingard ate chips, discussed the British weather and sang songs during a characteristically awkward chat with Dimoldenberg.

Portuguese midfielder Silva, who joined Manchester City from Monaco in the summer of 2017,  was asked if he enjoyed living in the UK: 'Yeah, I like it. The weather is really good, the food as well.'

He then surprisingly revealed his love of British band Queen before singing part of 'Bohemian Rhapsody' with Dimoldenberg.

Despite being in a Manchester chip shop, Silva refused to eat more than one chip, saying that City staff would 'kill him' for breaking their healthy eating regime.

Manchester United's Lingard, meanwhile, claimed he could play American singer Carlton's 'Homebound' on the piano during an amusing interview.

Mocking Dimoldenberg for her attempts at his usual goal celebration -  a joined 'JL' with his hands - Lingard also insisted that Jose Mourinho's men would emerge triumphant in Sunday's clash.

'We will win', he repeated to Dimoldenberg.

Lingard and his United team-mates will be hoping to build on their midweek victory at Juventus in Sunday's game at the Etihad Stadium.

Mourinho's men are currently seventh in the Premier League table, nine points arift of leaders City at the summit.
