Mohamed Salah does not deserve to win the 2018 Fifa Puskas Award, according to Twitter.
Winning by 38% of fans votes, the Egyptians fine effort off the edge of the box during the Merseyside Derby against Everton ensured he picked the prize ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Lionel Messi.
However, football fans took to social media to show their irritation following the choice of the 26-year-old who is also a contender to win The Best FIFA Men's Player award.

You all just keep on hating on Mo... It's sad to see but, you all can't change the fact that he got the award. And im so glad for him. You all can write hate back. But just know I've reached a point where I really don't care.. All I cared about it that Salah got his award and that's that. So go and take a walk if you all are still angry.. Awards are not compensations but merits reason y we have to forget clans race or what ever. Ronaldo merited world best wasn't given, Bake merited puskas wasn't given. Salah was just compensated with the puskas. Its quite a shame to FIFA cus Salah can't be third world best for the 2017-2018 and is not found in team 11. Salah would've replaced Mbape. Between Midric and Ronaldo there us ni match. Without Ronaldo Real wouldn't have worn champions league n without Ronaldo Portugal would've been eliminated in group stages at world. How many goals did Ron scored in UEFA champs league and world cup. How many goals did Midric scored un work cup not talk of Champs league. FIFA should learn to respect merit.
