Better than Nike's? Fan-designed Liverpool 20-21 concept kits revealed

Jordan Thorne, who works at Cardiff-based CREO agency, has created a trio of Liverpool Nike concepts shirts in response to the leaks of the club's actual 20-21 kits.

We've seen the Liverpool 2020-21 home and away shirts and pretty much know how the checkered third kit will look like and it's fair to say that the reaction has been mixed thus far.

Thorne says: "Not a fan of any of the leaks so far. Given them a go myself. A lot of potential over the coming seasons for Nike to get it right however."

The three concept designs, which feature the Nike Futura logo, have proven fairly popular, raking in more than 200 retweets and 1,500 likes on Twitter.

The Liverpool 20-21 concept home jersey is dark red with white logos and an overlapping collar in an even darker shade of red.

Based on the same template, the Liverpool 20-21 concept away football shirt is white with silver logos and trim, while also featuring a very subtle Liverbird pattern.

It's all very understated and perhaps the alternative version with red logos, which was also shared on Twitter is preferable:

Completing the set, the Liverpool 20-21 concept third jersey is yellow with a large collar and a subtle gradient graphic on the front.
