'Better than last year' - Ancelotti's reaction to facing Liverpool again in UCL

Carlo Ancelotti admits Napoli’s Champions League draw is “better than last year, but still a difficult group.”

The Partenopei are once again in the same group as trophy holders Liverpool, this time joined by RB Salzburg and Belgian club KRC Genk.

“It’s better than last year, but still a difficult group. We are confident,” the Coach told the official Napoli Twitter account.

Napoli do not have good luck with Champions League draws, as last season they were paired with Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain and Red Star Belgrade.

They finished on nine points, level with eventual winners Liverpool, going out only on goal difference, having beaten them 1-0 at the San Paolo and lost 1-0 at Anfield.
