Marcelo Bielsa's men have an impressive record after the break and that may pay dividends at Villa Park when the sides face off in the Championship

Sunday afternoon sees two Championship clubs with promotion aspirations face off as Leeds United make the trip south to play Aston Villa.

Marcelo Bielsa’s men are currently top of the league but victory for Norwich at Blackburn Rovers will see them drop to second, whilst Villa are three points outside of the play-off spots.

888Sport make the hosts 27/20 (2.45) favourites with Leeds priced at 39/20 (2.95), and the draw is available at 47/20 (3.35) with the same firm.

The visitors’ impressive away form is the reason they are fighting for automatic promotion, having recorded six wins and three draws from 11 games – already just three fewer away points than they gained in the whole of last season.

However, Villa have lost just one game at home this campaign and were defeated only twice last term.

With that in mind, just focusing on one half provides some value and Leeds to win the second period in the Draw No Bet market pays out at Evens (2.0).

The Whites tend to come alive after the break and in their 11 away matches this term they have been leading just twice at half-time, compared to winning the second half an impressive seven times.

In fact, 24 of their 36 goals this season have come after the break whilst Villa have conceded 19 times in that time, with only seven other clubs conceding more.

The Draw No Bet caveat provides a safety net in case Leeds are unable to win the second half, with the stake being returned should the sides play to a stalemate in that time.

With that in mind, Bielsa’s men to win the second half Draw No Bet at Evens (2.0) could well pay dividends when these two clubs go head-to-head in the Championship.
