Arsenal can take a step towards the last 16 of the Europa League when they travel to Olympiacos at Karaiskakis Stadium on Thursday evening.
The Gunners endured a tumultuous group stage but eventually finished top of Group F, and Mikel Arteta’s side will hope to rediscover the form that saw them win their first three games in the groups.
Olympiacos dropped into the Europa League after finishing third in their Champions League group and will certainly pose a threat to Arsenal after twice coming close to beating their north London rivals Tottenham.
Arsenal have won just two of their last 14 away games in all competitions but are 11/8 (2.38) favourites to come out on top in Greece.
Olympiacos are unbeaten in their last 18 games, winning 14 of those, and are 15/8 (2.87) to make it nine home wins in a row.
None of the eight previous meetings between these sides have finished level but you can get 5/2 (3.50) on a stalemate at Karaiskakis Stadium.
Alexandre Lacazette could be in line to play after scoring his first goal since December last time out, although Eddie Nketiah will also be pushing to retain his place. Joe Willock and Gabriel Martinelli should both start.
Hillel Soudani is out for an extended period after rupturing his cruciate ligament last week, but otherwise Olympiacos have no injury worries.
With Arsenal struggling in the Premier League, Arteta could target the Europa League as a chance of both silverware as well as a route to returning to the Champions League.
The Gunners are unbeaten in their last nine away games in all competitions but have won just two of those, scoring 13 goals but also conceding 10 times.
Olympiacos have been in imperious form themselves, though, with eight consecutive home wins in which they have netted 24 times but have also shipped seven goals.
The likelihood of plenty of action in Piraeus is quite high, then, and over 3.5 goals pays out at a very tempting 2/1 (3.0) with bet365 and looks the best way to go for this Europa League clash.
